The award-winning Royal Mail Hotel is located at the base of the southern tip of the Grampians National Park, in the township of Dunkeld. The hotel has 40 rooms with varying styles of accommodation, two restaurants – Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel and Parker Street Project – and a 28,000 bottle wine cellar with the largest largest private collection of Bordeaux and Burgundy in the Southern Hemisphere.
The menus in both restaurants are serviced by the produce from the kitchen garden. Up to 80% of the produce showcased is grown onsite and harvested daily by the kitchen team, making it the largest working restaurant kitchen garden in Australia.
Dunkeld Pastoral Co Pty Ltd Farm supplies beef and lamb which are born and bred for use specifically in the Royal Mail Hotel restaurants. This allows the kitchen team to butcher and use the whole animal across the restaurant menus.
The Royal Mail Hotel has a network of private walking tracks and provides access directly to the Grampians National Park.
The Royal Mail Hotel prides itself on creating a sustainable tourism focused, visitor experience that celebrates food, wine, people and place.
